2008 Landscape Industry Show Slated for February 27-28

S & S Seeds is once again pleased and proud to be part of the Landscape Industry Show, which takes place this year at the Los Angeles Convention Center February 27-28. Featuring over 350 exhibitors showcasing products ranging from water gardens to fertilizers to pottery and more, the Landscape Industry Show is presented by the California Landscape Contractors Association (CLCA), a nonprofit trade organization, of which S&S Seeds is a member. CLCA bills the show as the "leading green industry show in the west" and promises to provide the estimated 8,000 attendees with the "ultimate customer connection" by offering instant knowledge edge about the latest industry products and services.

There are also a number of educational seminars planned, including business-related themes such as "Top Ten Employee Issues Plaguing Landscapers," "Workers' Compensation 101" and "Great Meetings and Accountability."

More specialized seminars include "How to Develop and Meet a Water Budget for a Landscape Site," "Preserving Mature Trees During Construction" and "Creating Water Features for Small Spaces." In addition, the Certified Landscape Technician Test and the Water Management Certification Test will be available to those who wish to obtain certificates in these areas of expertise.
