S&S Seeds at Upcoming Expos and Conferences 2009

© 2009 Wendy Dager

S & S Seeds is once again pleased and proud to be part of the International Erosion Control Association’s (IECA) annual Environmental Connection conference and expo, which is billed on the IECA’s Web site as “the world’s largest soil and water event.”

The IECA Environmental Connection takes place this year at the Reno Convention Center and Atlantis Casino Hotel February 9-12.

With 449 exhibitors in 180 booths representing 27 countries, Environmental Connection is the place to be for those wanting to learn more about the newest products and technology in the areas of soil stabilization, stream restoration, erosion control and more.

The next big event takes place February 25-26 at the Los Angeles Convention Center, when the California Landscape Contractors Association (CLCA) presents its 2009 industry show. This year’s theme is “Sustainability, Profitability and Responsibility,” which “reflect CLCA's continuing commitment to the wise use of natural resources, a strong and healthy business climate and responsible landscape practices.”

Bill the Buffalo

Bill the Buffalo pays close attention while Bruce Berlin and Ben Miller man the S&S Seeds' booth at the 2007 Landscape Industry Show.

The show will feature educational seminars, demonstration gardens, equipment, green-industry products and more. And just in time to ring in spring, a third conference will take place April 29-May 3 at the Lake Natoma Inn on the American River in Folsom, California. Presented by the California Society for Ecological Restoration (SERCAL), in conjunction with the California Native Grasslands Association (CNGA), this year’s theme is “A Confluence of Perspectives and Experience: Habitat Restoration in California's Central Valley.” Conference events include poster presentations, exhibits and technical sessions. There will also be post-conference field trips.

S&S Seeds will have booths at all three conferences and our staff is glad to answer your questions and assist you with all your seed needs.
